Dealing with symptoms that others might not understand can be frustrating, but you’re not alone. Millions of women across the globe suffer from endometriosis-associated pain.
Endometriosis is a hormone-dependent condition in which tissue that normally grows inside the uterus grows outside the uterus. Clinical symptoms can include painful menstruation, chronic pelvic pain, pain with defecation (bowl movements), and pain during intercourse.
Cypress Medical Research Center in Wichita is currently conducting a research study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of an investigational medication in females with endometriosis to reduce pelvic pain.
You may qualify to participate if you:
- Are 18-49 years of age with endometriosis.
- Surgically diagnosed with endometriosis in the last 10 years.
- Are currently experiencing moderate to severe endometriosis associated pain.
Study participants may receive study-related care, procedures, and medication at no cost.
Health insurance is not needed to participate.
Participants will receive compensation for time and travel.
